FAQ
Answers about pricing, drivers, vehicle choice, pickup, delivery, EV charging and route planning across Nepal.
Do I need a driving licence or permit?
No. Every Glide rental comes with an experienced local driver, so you never need a Nepali licence or an International Driving Permit — just book and enjoy the ride.
Can I take the vehicle to remote areas like Mustang or Manang?
Absolutely. Our 4x4 jeeps — the Prado and Scorpio-N — are built for Himalayan roads and restricted-area permits. Share your route and we will prep the right vehicle and paperwork.
How does charging work for the electric cars?
The Deepal S05 and BYD Atto 3 charge on any standard EV charger, and fast chargers are now common in the cities and at highway stops nationwide. We send a route plan with charge points for your trip.
What is included in the price?
Every quote is built around the vehicle category, local driver, route, pickup point, timing and any waiting, parking, charging or overnight needs.
Is the driver included in the price?
Yes — a professional, English-speaking driver who knows Nepal's roads comes with every vehicle. For multi-day Himalaya trips we arrange the driver's meals and stay too, with a clear quote up front.
How do delivery and pickup work?
We deliver to your hotel, the airport or your door anywhere in Nepal. Returns are just as easy — drop it back or we will collect it.
Can I book airport pickup and continue to another city?
Yes. Airport pickup can be booked as a simple hotel transfer or as the first leg of a longer route to Pokhara, Chitwan or another destination.
Which vehicle should I choose for my Nepal route?
EVs and compact SUVs work well for cities and planned highway routes, vans suit families and groups, and 4x4 jeeps are the better choice for Mustang, Manang and rough mountain roads.
Can I rent one way between Kathmandu, Pokhara or Chitwan?
Yes. Share the pickup city, drop-off city, passenger count and luggage so we can match the route to the right vehicle and driver plan.
