Terms of Use

The practical rules for riders, drivers, admins and visitors using Glide Rentals.

Agreement

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Glide Rentals website, dashboard, mobile app, backend services and related rider, driver and support workflows.

By creating an account, requesting a ride, going online as a driver, using the dashboard or otherwise using Glide Rentals, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Accounts and Eligibility

  • You must provide accurate account information, including name, email, phone number, city and account role.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and devices secure.
  • You may not create an account for someone else without permission or use the service for unlawful, fraudulent or unsafe activity.
  • Drivers must be legally permitted to drive, must provide accurate verification materials and must maintain all licenses, permits, vehicle registrations and authorizations required by applicable law.

Rider Terms

  • Ride requests must include accurate pickup and drop-off locations, schedule, trip type and vehicle requirements.
  • A ride is not confirmed until a driver accepts an eligible offer and the app shows the accepted ride state.
  • You must be ready at the pickup location, treat drivers and vehicles respectfully, and follow reasonable safety instructions.
  • You may cancel a ride only where the app allows cancellation. Cancellation timing may affect support outcomes, fees or future availability where applicable.
  • Estimated availability, arrival times, route displays and vehicle matching are not guarantees.

Driver Terms

  • Drivers must submit truthful license, selfie and vehicle information and keep that information current.
  • Drivers may only go online after required profile, document, selfie and vehicle approvals are complete.
  • Going online creates a primary driver session. While online, drivers must keep the app active as needed for heartbeats, offers and foreground location reporting.
  • Drivers may accept only offers they intend and are able to perform safely and lawfully.
  • Drivers must not let another person use their driver account, vehicle approval or identity verification materials.
  • Glide Rentals may suspend, reactivate, approve, reject or require resubmission of driver records where needed for safety, compliance, quality or operational reasons.

Payments and Charges

Prices, payment methods, deposits, refunds and collection methods may vary by trip, vehicle, city, route, package and commercial arrangement. The app and support team may provide confirmations or instructions for specific rides.

Where payment capture or payment operations are enabled, you authorize Glide Rentals or its payment partners to process amounts connected with rides, cancellations, damage, extra time, route changes, waiting time, tolls, parking or other agreed charges.

Safety and Conduct

  • Do not harass, threaten, discriminate against, deceive or harm riders, drivers, staff or third parties.
  • Do not interfere with dispatch, location reporting, push notifications, WebSocket updates, reviews, payments or platform security.
  • Do not upload unlawful, misleading, offensive or non-owned images or documents.
  • Do not scrape, reverse engineer, overload, attack or attempt unauthorized access to the API, dashboard, app or infrastructure.
  • Report accidents, safety incidents, fraud, incorrect driver identity, incorrect vehicle identity or account compromise promptly.

Driver Verification and Reviews

Driver approval is an operational review, not a warranty that a driver or vehicle will always be available, safe, lawful or suitable for every trip. Drivers remain responsible for legal compliance and safe operation.

Rider ratings, tags and feedback must be honest and based on real ride experiences. We may use ratings and feedback for quality, support and driver review decisions.

Third-Party Services

Glide Rentals depends on third-party infrastructure and services such as hosting providers, storage providers, Apple Maps, Apple Push Notification service, Firebase Cloud Messaging, OSRM routing, Cloudflare, Umami analytics, Leaflet and OpenStreetMap resources.

Those services may have their own terms, policies, outages, limits and data handling practices. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

Availability and Changes

  • We may modify, suspend, limit or discontinue features, routes, cities, vehicle classes, dashboard access or app availability at any time.
  • The service may be interrupted by maintenance, network issues, provider outages, device settings, permission denials, inaccurate GPS, app-store changes or other events outside our control.
  • We may update these Terms as the product changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use account, trip, driver, location, notification, dashboard and website data. By using Glide Rentals, you also agree to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

Suspension and Termination

  • We may suspend or restrict accounts, driver approvals, active sessions, notification access, dashboard access or ride features if we believe there is risk, fraud, misuse, policy violation, legal concern or inaccurate information.
  • You may stop using the service at any time. You can delete your account from Profile in the mobile app, unless an active or unsettled ride must be completed or cancelled first.
  • When an account is deleted, we remove active access and anonymize direct account identifiers while retaining records needed for legal, safety, payment, dispute, fraud-prevention and operational reasons.

Disclaimers and Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Glide Rentals provides the platform and related information on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect matching, exact arrival times, exact route calculations, continuous location accuracy or availability of any driver or vehicle.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Glide Rentals will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, or for losses caused by third-party services, user conduct, inaccurate information, device permissions, network outages or events outside our reasonable control.

Governing Law and Contact

These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws applicable to Glide Rentals Pvt. Ltd. in Nepal, unless another law is required to apply.
